FARM CONSULTATION

Let us spend time at your farm evaluating resources, soil conditions, existing grasses, livestock genetics, and opportunities.

Through soil analysis, crop planning, and farm design, we can help you and your farm. 

Karen Scalf and the rest of the team at KHFarms bring years of Agricultural, Biological, and Ag. Engineering experience to help design sustainable farms including yours.  Our passions include soil health, cattle rotation, cover crop, introducing animals, animal husbandry, and other topics.

Schedule your consultation today. A $50 reservation fee is required prior to choosing a date. The balance will be due the day of the on-site consultation. Total cost is $150/hour + $1/mile (one way).

VISIT OUR FARM

Want to visit a truly Regenerative cattle farm?

Whether you are currently a rancher or just getting started in livestock, you can meet with full-time cattleman Karen Scalf for 30 minutes and discuss Farm Life and how KHFarms can help you reach your goals of farming and healthy living. 

Examine the forages and soil biology, construct daily cattle paddocks, move the cattle with Karen, and see why Regenerative farming is more beneficial to the quality of life for animals and farm families.

At KHFarms we take a hands-on approach for every visitor insuring a personalized tour, sharing knowledge about transitioning to a more productive system based on soil biology.

Expect 2 hours of round-the-farm discussions that will open doors of new possibilities in the pleasure of ranching. Total cost is $250. A $50 reservation fee is required upon registration. The balance will be due the day of the farm visit.

 

 


 

Farm interns play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of farming practices on our 100-acre farm in Mount Olive, NC. During the 1-year time commitment, interns will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of livestock farming, livestock breeding, and a variety of farm maintenance skills.
